Welcome to our Spiritual Community

Welcome to the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. We have been a religious home for open-minded Vermonters since 1864. We are an inclusive congregation welcoming all people-- of all ages, classes, ethnicities, genders, physical abilities and  sexual orientations--into our community.

Services are held weekly beginning the first Sunday after Labor day and ending the second Sunday in June. Worship and church school are held Sundays at 10:00am. Braille and large-print hymnals as well as listening devices are available for Sunday services. During the summer months we gather for silent and spoken meditation in the Vestry on Sundays at 10 am. Office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

A group of folks from UCM stepped forth to 'learn how the soup kitchen works' and they are willing to take this project on for the month of July. The ET has approved this project. You can help OR support by: planting an extra row of greens for salads, volunteering one Monday in July ( serving, setting up, cleaning up), donating a dessert one Monday in July, picking up donated food OR coming and eating at one of the Monday lunches between 11:30 and 1:00 o'clock one Monday in July. If you have questions OR can support in any way please contact Dave Grundy. Flyer
