Like all Unitarian Universalist congregations, we are independent and self-governing. An annual meeting allows all members equal voting rights in church governance.
Committees made up of members and friends working together manage the church's activities. Committee chairs form an Executive Committee, which oversees all aspects of church operations.
Our church is supported by the voluntary contributions of members and friends, fund-raising activities, and interest from invested funds (gifts from past members and friends). Each year in late winter we have a pledge drive in order to invite members and friends to pledge their financial support for continuing the life and activities of the church.
In this our transition year, we are beginning intense conversations about changing the model we use to govern ourselves; a very exciting discussion!
